Sherry Mitchell, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor providing mental health care services to patients at Integrated Premier Group Specialty, located in Tempe, Arizona. She is committed to helping individuals who live throughout the East Valley improve their mental health and live more gratifying lives.
Sherry earned her Masters in Professional Counseling (MSPC) from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, in April 2015. She then went on to earn her Masters in Mental Health and Wellness (MSMHW) in 2018 and her Masters in Public Health Administration (MPA) in 2021 from the same institution.
While Sherry attended Grand Canyon University, she served as a student counselor to help improve the mental health of her fellow students. She then worked as a senior behavioral health counselor for the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC). In 2019 she assumed the position of residential treatment center (RTC) program service manager for the SRPMIC.
Sherry is a skilled counselor who has a special interest in substance abuse, trauma therapy, domestic violence, healthy lifestyle practices, and building healthy relationships. She is trained and well-versed in providing a variety of mental health treatments, such as motivational interviewing (MIT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma therapy (CTT).
Sherry is proud to serve the communities surrounding Tempe and is always seeking new ways to help support the community, using her various experiences to counsel individuals and improve their mental health.
